This policy defines the standards for content shared on M — posts, stories, clips, comments, messages, group posts, events, and watch parties.

Allowed content

• Authentic, lawful expression by real people.
• Educational, artistic, and newsworthy content.
• Personal updates, humor, and opinions.

Not allowed

• Hate speech targeting protected groups.
• Graphic violence or glorification of violence.
• Sexual content involving minors.
• Non-consensual sexual content.
• Dangerous challenges or instructions for harm.
• Deceptive manipulated media presented as real.
• Content that facilitates illegal goods or services.

Sensitive content

Some content is allowed but limited in reach (e.g., graphic news imagery). Sensitive content may be filtered from recommendations and discovery.

AI and synthetic media

AI-generated or materially altered media must be labeled. Deceptive deepfakes are not allowed.

Moderation

We combine automated systems and human review. Content may be removed, labeled, or limited in reach.
