This Privacy Policy explains what information Chin Khawvel collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Chin Khawvel does not sell your data.

Scope

This document applies to your use of Chin Khawvel, a unified media platform built for the Chin community and Chin languages. Chin Khawvel does not sell or ship physical products; the Store is limited to digital goods, courses and memberships.

  • You must be eligible to use the platform under applicable law.
  • You are responsible for content you publish and for holding the rights to it.
  • Prohibited conduct includes unlawful, harmful, infringing or abusive activity.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations.
  • Chin Khawvel is a no-AI platform: it does not use AI for recommendations, moderation, search ranking, transcription, translation or financial decisions. Creators may voluntarily declare AI usage for transparency only.

  • Account information: email, name, role.
  • Creator information: channel details and content metadata.
  • Content: videos, audio, music, podcasts, courses and associated metadata.
  • Watch, listening and search history.
  • Device and usage analytics (deterministic; no AI inference).
  • Purchases, course progress and memberships.
  • Cookies for sessions and preferences.

Security & retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Data is retained as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

Your controls

Third parties

We use payment processors, storage/CDN and hosting providers under their own terms. We do not sell data to third parties.
